Steps to Become a Substitute Teacher
Step 1: Complete the online application
**Must include professional references**
Step 2: IN-PERSON INTERVIEW
Step 3: References contacted
step 4: complete fingerprinting
*** Must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting check BEFORE starting employment; (approximately $50.00) paid by applicant. - This will be emailed to you
step 5: complete online training through stedi online. information will be emailed to you.(approximately $40.00) paid by applicant
STEP 6: ATTEND an IN-PERSON ORIENTATION. invitiation will be emailed.
***ORIENTATION IS ONLY HELD ONCE PER MONTH. you may not attend orientation until fingerprinting and training has been completed.***
