This past Saturday, November 6, 2021, LAMS had 14 students travel to Resnik MS and compete in the Region 11 Band Auditions. Those 14 students competed against 250 other musicians in Region 11, and at the end of the day, we had 6 students make the Region Band and 4 students make District Band.
This Friday and Saturday (November 12 and 13, 2021,) the Region members will be rehearsing with other students from the Region, and have a performance on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 2:30 pm at the Judson ISD Performing Arts Center. The concert is free, and we would love to invite everyone to join us! Go BAND!
Today, (October 14, 2021), our Advanced Woodwind class had a chance to meet and ask questions to SSgt Alexander Bullard, USMC of the President's OWN United States Marine Band- all the way from Washington, D.C.! We were able to ask questions and hear him play! It was a wonderful time!
