2025 - 26 School Year Registration Information

-PRE-KINDER Registration for the 2025-26 School Year (New Student Enrollment Access)

--All students that completed the 24-25 school year at MVISD, MUST complete this form in order to receive their 25-26 schedules.

**Follow the Registration and Returning Student Verification Steps below to access the registration applications. You will be asked to attach/upload required enrollment documents to your online application. Doing so initially will expedite the enrollment process.**

REGISTRATION STEPS

Step 1:

Enroll online and upload required documents to your registration application. Parents/guardians will use our student information system, Skyward Q, to fill out registration information for any student who is new to the district. During this process, you are able to upload required documents.

**UPLOADING ALL DOCUMENTS REQUESTED ON THE ONLINE APPLICATION WILL EXPEDITE YOUR ENROLLMENT PROCESS**

Families that have never had any students enrolled at MVISD.

Current MVISD Family: [Have an existing Skyward Q Account]

Families that currently have a student or students enrolled at MVISD and are enrolling a new child.

Log in to your existing Family Access, use the drop down arrow located by the house icon to navigate to "New Student Enrollment".

Previously Enrolled at MVISD Family (inactive student returning to MVISD) [Have an existing Skyward Q Account]:

For students that have previously withdrawn from MVISD and are re-enrolling, you will need to use the Family Access Portal.

You may need to reset your Family Access Portal password.
Do not create a new account.
If you are not able to reset your password using the "Forgot your Username of Password?" link , contact your campus registrar as they will need to re-activate your account.
Once active, log into Family Access to fill out the New Student Enrollment forms.

Step 2:

Middle School and High School Students, you will need to schedule an appointment at their zoned campus.

**Please note - For Summer, High School will be processing all enrollments remotely. You do not need to book an appointment. However, ALL required documents MUST be uploaded to the online application. Please monitor your email for enrollment information and the next steps.

After the online enrollment application is complete and required forms uploaded, parents/guardians will need to make an appointment with the campus Registrar (see campus calendars below). Students will meet with Administration to discuss scheduling.

Elementary Students will not need to make an appointment.

RETURNING STUDENT VERIFICATION STEPS

Step 1:

Fill out the Returning Student Verification and upload Proof of Residence for the upcoming school year. Student information verification is an annual process that allows parents/guardians to verify and update contact information, emergency contact information, and health information as well as complete required annual forms online.

Returning MVISD Family [Have an existing Skyward Q Account]:

Families that have a student or students enrolled at MVISD in the CURRENT school year need to complete the returning student verification forms for the upcoming school year.

All students that attended MVISD the 24-25 school year MUST complete this form in order to receive any 25-26 schedules.

Step 2:

Check Family Access under your child's "Profile" tile to verify that your changes, if any, have been updated. Please allow ample time especially during the summer for these updates to occur as they will go through a verification process. While in Family Access you can explore the available tiles and view your child's information.

List of Required Documents

The following required documents should be uploaded to your child's registration form in order to expedite the enrollment process:

Child's original birth certificate
Child's social security card
Child's up-to-date immunization records
Proof of Residence (stating physical address and / or service address) in the parent/guardian's name:
- a current month or the prior month's utility bill; full page (electricity, water, or gas bill); or
- a new lease, or rental contract (full document; signed within the last 30 days)
- a closing disclosure for a home purchase (full document; signed within the last 30 days. Pre-closing documents are not accepted.)
Parent/Guardian's Driver's License
High School students - prior year report card or transcript

If applicable, you may also upload:

Special Education Records
504 Records
Legal Documents

*If documents are not legible or complete, it will cause a delay in processing your application as most documents are required to complete your application. The Campus Registrar will advise you to upload the document again in full in order for your application to be marked completed and ready for review.

Middle School and High School Appointment Calendars: For Summer, enrollments will be processed remotely unless you need to submit an Affidavit of Residency.

Middle school and high school student appointments: Will begin again once the 25-26 school year begins.

Once you have submitted your online enrollment application, both the parent/legal guardian and the student will need to attend the scheduled appointment in order to visit with his/her counselor to discuss course selections.

To fill out an Affidavit of Residency, make an appointment.

All appointments are scheduled on Central Time Zone. Please ensure your drive is set to the correct time zone.
If you are registering for the current school year, your student will begin school the next school day following your appointment.

Transcript Request

To order transcripts please click on the Transcripts & Records Request link to the left.

**It is against FERPA to email ANY student records**

If you are a Texas TEA School, please utilize TREx for all record requests & incoming records (163908).
If you are a current MVHS student, you may request a transcript for free through your counselor.

We do not have a secure method to request records from schools outside of the continental U.S. If you are joining us from out of the country, please bring your student's official transcript from his/her previous school.

Please note: during peak times (beginning of semester and at end of semester) and during holiday breaks, there could potentially be a significant delay in fulfillment of transcript requests. Please plan accordingly.

Effective August 1, 2023 transcripts will be available for purchase only for all former student orders.

UPDATING EMERGENCY CONTACTS and ParentSquare

You can now update the following through your Skyward Family Access:

- Family 1 and Family 2 can update their own Parent/Guardian phone number and email address.

- Family 1 can add, revise, or remove emergency contact information.

- Family 2 can view emergency contact information.
