the rumors are true we are going to be doing us I am telling you to build a model of a spaceship or new Rover how does Legos this is my first year doing full on Steam for science technology engineering art and math it is so open-ended and there's no right or wrong that's the beauty it's all about just jumping and experiencing and finding Solutions component because it allows students to really demonstrate their knowledge or within the classrooms are very structured very task-oriented how to get from point A to point B where within the steam lab they can really be creative and show their critical thinking to attack the task at hand the smart serious side and the silly creative side and you got sick put it together they get to learn how to collaborate with other students and those are really important 21st century job skills and we all agreed to make a rocket ship in like a thing that would hold the Rockets I mean you don't know what to expect when you come in here and there's always a different challenge once you come in with Miss mess she tells us to try to do this we think that we can't do it but then like a few minutes later we do it like it's possible you get to see ever give awesome and the progression of that is amazing because I'm seeing kids that has been the quiet fall between the cracks and the kids that are finding their place I think Miss class is so special because she is willing to take the risk she's not worried about what it's going to sound like what it's going to look like she may feel like it's a three-ring circus but would you listen in to the conversations they are evidence of learning showing evidence of critical thinking showing evidence of respecting each other about this challenge any challenge is that you could not walk in here and tell me who was struggling or not I couldn't actually they're all able to participate they're all able to contribute and they're all successful so I love that about seeing if they take anything from this room then I feel like this program has been a success
