Medina Valley Independent School District Board of Trustees in January approved the 2024-25 academic calendar.
When presented with two calendar options in a survey in early January, 62 percent of staff and parents voted for this calendar. The calendar offers a fall break October 14-18.
The process to approve a district academic calendar is initiated by the Teacher Advisory Committee. After reviewing various academic calendars, the committee develops two options. District parents and staff vote on their preferred option before it is presented to board members for final approval.
