Medina Valley ISD’s Regular School Board meetings are normally held on the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 pm at the location named in the Public Notice. Special/Called and Workshop meetings are held as needed to conduct school business and board training. All Board meetings are open to the public, and posted at least 72 hours before the scheduled time of the meeting as legally required. The Notice reflects the date, time and location of the meeting and is located in supplemental resources. The agenda lists the specific subjects to be deliberated at the meeting, attachments with supporting documents are available for review. The approved minutes for Board meetings state the subject matter of each deliberation and indicate each vote, order, decision, or other action taken. Official Board Minutes are posted on the website after board approval.

November 27, 2023 – 4th Monday (Thanksgiving Break is 20th - 24th)

December 18, 2023 – 3rd Monday (Winter Break is Dec. 19th - Jan. 4th)

January 22, 2024 – 4th Monday 

February 26, 2024 – 4th Monday

March 25, 2024 – 4rd Monday (Spring Break is 11th - 15th)          

April 29, 2024 – 5th Monday *originally scheduled for April 22*

May 20, 2024 – 3rd Monday (May 27th is Memorial Day- Holiday)

June 24, 2024 – 4th Monday 

July 22, 2024 – 4th Monday 

August 26, 2024 – 4th Monday 

Public Comments at Board Meetings
 
At Regular Board Meetings the Board of Trustees shall permit public comment on any topic. At Special/Called Board meetings or workshops the Board of Trustees shall only permit public comment on items listed on the current meeting’s agenda. All public comments are limited to 5 minutes per Board Policy. A timer will alert when the 5 minutes have expired. No Board Member or Administrator may respond to a member of the public, unless such response is a recitation of District Policy or a statement of specific factual information.
