Sara Beth will be featured in a segment at 10 PM on 10/13 on KENS 5!

S Beasely Congratulations to Sara Beth Beasley the first-ever MVISD All Star Student brought to you by KENS 5 and the UPS Store!

Sara Beth was nominated by her teachers Dustin Hurley and Robert Jones. Here is what they had to say about why Sara Beth shines above the rest.

Sara Beth Beasley is a well-rounded example of the young adult we try to build in each of our students. Academically she ranks among the top of her class. She is enrolled in honors, AP, and Dual Credit classes to ensure her highest level of education.

She has also participated in NASA’s high school aerospace scholars program and was named a national finalist in the selection program to identify future candidates for careers in the space industry. In addition, she takes classes in the field of aerospace and aviation outside of school and recently earned her pilot's license.

She is truly academically well rounded. She demonstrates leadership as the STUCO president. She also is the president of the speech and debate team and works tirelessly to ensure that every student on the team has what they need to succeed. She dedicates her time almost every Saturday to helping other members of the team while still competing herself.

She also builds programs to benefit both our campus and the community. She has organized a virtual tutoring program to support students that are learning remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. She is also involved in PACE (a peer tutoring program on campus), and Peers for Positive Change, a student-led program designed to help make positive changes in our school.

Not only does she participate in extracurricular activities, but she excels in them. She has competed at the state level several times for speech and debate in various events. She has consistently placed in the top 15 in the state in UIL speech and debate competition. She has also competed in the American Legion oratorical contest.

Sara Beth is a true representative of the Culture of Excellence here at Medina Valley High School.
