Panther Tennis Playoff Update 10/27

Panther tennis went to the McFarlin Tennis Center on a very cold Tuesday to take on the Lanier Voks for a chance to make it to the second round of playoffs for the first time in MV tennis history. Although the day started with a two-hour rain delay, the Panthers came out of the gate strong winning 5 -2 in doubles. When it was time for singles, the Panthers kept the wins coming in finishing 8-4. Making our overall game count 12-6. In team tennis, once you get the tenth win that means you have won the match. The honor of the tenth win goes to junior Bowen Forman, winning his singles match. In light of this win, tennis will be moving on to Area! We are so proud of our team and how hard they have worked this year. On Friday at 2:30 pm at Annemarie Tennis Center, we will play our Area match, taking on Alamo Heights. Go Panthers!
