My name is Amanda Clark, and this is my first year teaching in the classroom. It does not get any better than starting your journey at Medina Valley Middle School. I graduated from Towson University in Maryland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science. I have always had a passion for science, so I am more than ready to bring that energy into our classroom. Besides teaching 6th and 8th grade science, I am also the cheerleading sponsor. I am looking forward to our cheer team supporting the community, amplifying our school spirit and overall making this school year one to remember!
I was born and raised in New Jersey but moved to Texas just last year due to my husband's service in the Air Force. Between relocation, getting married and starting a new career, 2018 has definitely been a year for the books!
In our classroom, I expect everyone to have the utmost respect for each other, our room and myself. Maintaining an orderly classroom is extremely important for success. I also expect each student to be responsible in our class when it comes to their work, attendance, participation and preparedness.
