• Free and Reduced Meal Application

    A Free and Reduced Meal Application must be submitted each school year. The deadline to submit your application before losing the prior year’s eligibility benefits is October 9, 2018. You may complete your application online at the link listed below under My School Apps, or you may pick up a paper application from the Child Nutrition Department or any school office and return it to your school cafeteria or school office. We highly recommend submitting your application online, since it is a quick and easy process and the application can be processed very quickly!

    My School Bucks

    You may set up an account to make payments for your students’ meals online at https://www.myschoolbucks.com. If you have any difficulties setting up an account, please call toll-free 1-855-832-5226 to reach a customer service agent.

    Meal Prices

    Breakfast costs $1.50; lunch costs $2.55 for Elementary and $2.80 for Secondary. Reduced-price is $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch.

    Paid students may charge up to three regular meals. If no payment has been received after the third regular meal, alternate meals may be provided at a reduced price of $1.25 for breakfast and $2.35 for lunch. If payment is not received after three alternate meals have been provided, outstanding balances may be given to the Assistant Superintendent for collection and/or any other action.    

    Special Diets/Food Allergies

    Any special diet requests must be completed using the MVISD Child Nutrition Special Diet Form for 2018-2019. Email the form to olga.perez@mvisd.org, or you may submit it to the Child Nutrition Department at the Central Office.
