HOW TO REPORT A STUDENT ABSENCE

Medina Valley ISD is excited to announce a new and more efficient way for parents and guardians to report student absences!

 

We are now integrating a “Submit an Absence” feature through Skyward Family Access (available on desktop and mobile app) to streamline the attendance reporting process. This enhancement allows parents and guardians to electronically notify the school of a student’s absence directly within the Skyward portal—saving you time and ensuring accurate communication with your child’s campus.

 

⚠️ Please note: You will no longer use the “Submit an Absence” forms that were previously available on the district website. All absence reporting will now be submitted through Skyward Family Access.
