    Consistency

The more we can provide consistency in digital resources for students and parents, the more we can streamline support and maintain rigorous academic instruction.

    What will consistency look like?

Medina Valley ISD will use Seesaw for PreK-2/ALE/ECSE classes and Google Classroom for 3rd - 12th grade classes.

Classes in PreK-2/ALE/ECSE will use Seesaw to share lessons, capture student mastery of skills, and provide student feedback.

Classes in 3rd - 12th grade will use Google Classroom as a digtal space for their classes to share lessons, receive assignments and provide student feedback.

Medina Valley ISD will utilize Google Meet for videoconferencing to proivde a secure and consistent environment for students and teachers to interact remotely.

    How will we get there?

The Instructional Technology Specialist will facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers and staff throughout Summer 2020 that focus on the introductory use of district-standard learning platforms with students and instructional best practices facilitated by these platforms.

In cooperation with Curriculum Department, professional development will continue for the remainder of the year via Panther Innovation On Demand Webinars, coaching, Impactful Saturday sessions, and campus Digital Learning Days.
