The RAPTOR visitor management system is an online tool that both registers and screens every campus visitor, volunteer, and contractor so that school officials know precisely who is entering their buildings. The RAPTOR system screens for sex offenders, alerts staff of custody violations and provides district-wide reporting for all visitors. The raptor system ensuring safety for all students and faculty members at all times.
The RAPTOR systems within MVISD are linked. An individual's first visit in a new school year will require the scanning of a state-issued ID. Repeat visits to the same campus or any campus within MVISD will require only a name for identification purposes to locate your RAPTOR profile and verify your identity. Self-service kiosks allow guests who already have a RAPTOR profile to swipe at a self-service kiosk station, retrieve a printed entrance badge, and go to their destination.
