Marcos Antonio Aguilar has been serving MVISD as School Resource Officer for the past 5 years. He grew up in Atascosa, Texas and graduated from Southwest High School in 2000. He then went to college at Sul Ross State University and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and was able to play collegiate football for the Sul Ross State Lobos. Teaching and Coaching was his passion, but also had a passion for protecting and serving others, which is why he attended the Sul Ross State University Law Enforcement Academy. He was the President of his class and was certified as a Peace Officer for the State of Texas. After the completion of his academy, he moved back home and was hired by the Medina County Sheriff’s Office to serve as a Deputy Sheriff for Sheriff Randy Brown. He has been serving and protecting the county for 10 years and hopes to continue throughout his career. Sheriff Brown and his team believed that Deputy Aguilar could serve as a role model, mentor, and leader for the students and staff of Medina Valley ISD. His mission is to make sure all students, staff, and parents of the district are kept safe. His goal is to someday teach and coach football like he always wanted to.
