Updates from the MVISD Superintendent

  • 03/31/20 03:30 PM UPDATE

In his press conference this afternoon at 2:00, Governor Greg Abbott extended his school closure order through May 1, 2020. He stated that schools may be able to reopen on May 4, but that could change. I had announced last week that Medina Valley ISD would remain closed through April 24. That, of course, has now changed to May 1 due to the Governor’s executive order. All scheduled school events through May 1 and all MVISD facility rentals are also cancelled through May 1.
