The Even Start Program is a federally funded program charged with improving the educational opportunities of low income families by offering early childhood education, adult literacy / basic education, and parenting education in a family literacy program. In order to participate in the Even Start program, adults must have a child between the ages of birth to 7 years old and meet other eligibility requirements. Classes are offered Monday - Thursday, 8 am to 1 pm in Early Childhood, English as a second Language (ESL), and ABE / GED preparation.
