Strategic Goals 2007-2012
Goal 1: MVISD will provide a comprehensive curriculum and instructional
program(preschool through post-secondary), with high standards, which
enables all students to reach their fullest potential.
Goal 2: MVISD will provide an environment that engages families,
community members, and the business community as full partners in the
education of all children.
Goal 3: MVISD will provide safe, adequate, attractive, comfortable and
functional facilities.
Goal 4: MVISD will recruit and retain highly qualified, effective
personnel and provide quality staff development designed to enhance
teaching and learning.
Goal 5: MVISD will improve, expand, and utilize state of the art technology throughout the district to increase the effectiveness of student learning, instructional management, and administration.
Goal 6: MVISD will reward and reinforce positive behavior while maintaining a safe and appropriate environment in which everyone is held responsible and accountable for his or her choices and actions.
