Welcome to the Medina Valley Elementary Schools

A new chapter in the history of Medina Valley ISD has begun! Starting with the 2004-05 school year, the district took the first step in phasing in the "community schools" concept by transitioning the LaCoste and Castroville campuses.

Beginning with the 2005-06 school year, all elementary students in grades K-5 began attending their "community" school, either in LaCoste, Castroville, or on Potranco Rd. A map of the each campus attendance zone has been made available at its website. A map showing all 3 zones together is available by clicking here (Jpeg format, 1.45mb). Printed full size maps of the district and attendance zones are available at each of the campuses, as well as at the MVISD Administration Offices located at 8449 FM 471 South.

You are invited and encouraged to visit any of these locations in order to view them. Further information regarding these changes will be posted to the district website as they become available.
