Social Services

About Us
MVISD Social Workers provide both clinical and social services to students and their parents, with a strengths perspective and a focus on empowerment and resilience through the creation of a supportive community environment. Our goal is to enhance students' adaptive functioning in school, home, and social environment by recognizing and addressing problems that impact a student's ability to succeed or thrive and to provide outreach to those students and parents who might benefit. While, we are available to all students, our target populations are those qualifying as “at risk”, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and/or Special Education.
