The Medina Valley I.S.D. Community Education program is currently looking
for instructors to teach a wide variety of classes or offer seminars
on all types of topics. Some of these might include: country and western
line dancing, acting, drawing, calligraphy, gardening/landscaping, fresh
water/salt water fishing, crafts, time or money management, cooking,
sewing, stained glass, antiquing, bridge or canasta classes, book club
readings, creative writing, career exploration, and more! We will be
glad to discuss with you any of the above or any ideas for classes that
you are interested in teaching. Your suggestions are always welcome
and appreciated!
Teach anything from a one night class to a six-week course. Teach adults
or children. Most of our classes are held in the evenings, preferably
on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but other times can be arranged. The Community
Education Program will work with your schedule. We are planning classes
beginning this semester, spring of 2004. We would like to add you and
your skill area to our database for current or future class offerings.
One of the main goals of the Community Education program is to provide
discounted or free quality educational experiences for people who wish
to continue being lifelong learners. There is a tremendous need in our
community for formal and informal instruction and you or someone you
know may serve this need.
Please take a moment to come by the Community Education Building located
between the Middle School and Baseball complexes or call Richard Jackson,
the Medina Valley I.S.D. Community Education Coordinator at 830-931-2770
ext. 192 or email: richard.jackson@mvisd.com for more information and
details regarding teaching (or assisting in) a Community Education class!
